Mary Rizzo, Psy.D., Psychological Testing Director "I feel incredibly honored and fortunate to be the Testing Director at PGA. For the past 5 years, I have conducted psychological testing across the lifespan to help guide individuals in their mental health journey. Testing is a wonderful tool to learn and understand a snapshot of how an individual may be struggling in their everyday life and be provided ways to function to their fullest potential. I currently work with individuals from 6 years old and up that present with a variety of concerns such as academic troubles, interpersonal issues, elevated levels of trauma, anxiety, depression, eating concerns, and mood disorders to name a few. My goal is to attain a holistic and comprehensive understanding of an individual's functioning and provide effective tools to thrive across areas of one's life such as work, school, relationships, and self."
Justin Chu, Psy.D., Clinical Psychologist "I enjoy conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations with children, adolescents, and adults. I have supported clients in better understanding themselves while identifying their unique areas of challenge and growth. I also provide individualized treatment recommendations for multiple areas of life (e.g. home, school/work, therapy) in order to help clients channel their curiosities into meaningful healing and strength-building. I emphasize a holistic approach to assessment and conceptualization that draws from a variety of disciplines and views the client as a unique individual with their own history, identity, experiences, and values. My approach to assessment mirrors the way I navigate psychotherapy, which integrates genuineness, empathy, validation, humor, and unconditional acceptance. My areas of focus include ADHD, anxiety/depression, adjustment challenges, anger/oppositionality, personality styles, mood disorders, and trauma."
Sam Martin, Psy.D., Clinical Psychologist "I conduct psychological assessments for adults to assist with clarification around attention deficits/hyperactivity, mood fluctuation, anxiety, depression, OCD, and trauma. I believe that testing can be a wonderful tool to learn and discover more about yourself, the unique ways in which your brain works, and how your past and current environments impact you. I take a non-pathologizing approach that centers a non-judgemental understanding of why you may be struggling in certain areas of life, and offer personalized recommendations to help in your journey towards healing."
Sierra Nathanson, Psy.D., Clinical Psychologist "I enjoy testing across the lifespan to help clients better understand themselves and ways to support their own development and success. I have specialized training in testing related to creating and developing 504 plans, IEPs, ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, depression, and bipolar disorder, all of which allows me to provide comprehensive evaluations to a variety of clients. My goal is to gain a holistic, comprehensive understanding of the client including what brought them to requesting an evaluation, what they believe would benefit them and what the psychological testing indicates would assist in allowing them to be successful in their day to day life."
Rhiannon Seward, Psy.D., Clinical Psychologist "I specialize in testing and evaluation of concerns related to attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, depression, anxiety, mood and bipolar disorder. I specifically work with clients 15 years of age or older. I particularly enjoy working with clients who feel "stuck" in therapy and need additional assistance in navigating current symptoms. I enjoy helping couples through the testing process and understand how ADHD and other diagnoses can affect relationships by providing recommendations to overcome challenges and build a strong partnership."
Morgan Perconti, Psy.D., Clinical Psychologist
Hailey Wygonski, Psy.D., Post-doctoral Resident "I enjoy conducting psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults, and I value the opportunity to support individuals through this process. My experience includes working with clients aged six and older from diverse backgrounds who face a variety of mental and behavioral health concerns. A psychological assessment can help deepen one's understanding of oneself, and one of my passions is to provide clarity and a meaningful roadmap for the future. My approach to assessment is holistic and collaborative, with recommendations tailored to and attainable for each person’s unique circumstances. "
Yasmin Abdelmawla, Psy.D., Post-doctoral Resident "I provide psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults seeking greater clarity, self-understanding, and support. I view assessment as more than a diagnosis; it can be a meaningful process of understanding a person’s strengths, challenges, history, identity, values, and needs. My approach to assessment is collaborative, holistic, and affirming. I work with clients and families to better understand concerns related to ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment challenges, emotional regulation, personality patterns, mood concerns, and behavioral difficulties. My goal is to provide thoughtful feedback and individualized recommendations that feel useful across multiple areas of life, including home, school, work, therapy, and relationships. Throughout the evaluation process, I aim to create a space that feels respectful, clear, and supportive. I help clients and families leave with language for what they are experiencing, a deeper understanding of their strengths and areas for growth, and practical next steps for healing, support, and meaningful change."
