Exploration of the client's personal values is used as motivation to implement change and live a more meaningful life. Dr. Rizzo creates an environment of warmth, kindness, and non-judgement to work collaboratively with the client to achieve their goals. She utilizes client's strengths to develop more positive thinking and compassion regarding oneself when overcoming challenges.
