Donna received her Masters degree in social work from the University of Illinois - Chicago. She has over 25 years experience as an adult and couples psychotherapist in private practice, primary care, and community-based settings. Donna uses holistic and flexible therapy approaches to best meet the needs of her clients including cognitive behavioral, mindfulness, interpersonal and solution-focused therapies. She strives to help clients manage life stressors and identify and reach their goals by working through barriers, learning new skills, and making positive changes in order to create a fulfulling and joyous life.
Donna works with an array of life issues including, anxiety, fear, depression, relationships, communication, parenting, divorce, grief and loss, mid-life and geriatric issues, caregiver stress, work difficulties, adjustment to physical health problems, anger management and improving self-esteem/confidence. She is also experienced in working with military families and providing faith-based counseling to those clients who request it.
