COVID Preparedness and Office Reopening Procedures for Clients
We intend to follow guidelines regarding social distancing and thorough cleaning and sanitizing. To ensure the safety of you and our staff, there will be some new policies procedures put in place.
You will be asked to take your temperature prior to arriving at the office. If it is elevated, or you have reason to believe that you have or have been exposed to COVID-19, please cancel your in-person appointment and we will make arrangements for a telehealth session. If you or a family member tests positive for COVID-19 after you have been to the office, please notify your clinician as soon as possible.
Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes prior to your appointment and stay in your car until you are contacted by your therapist. The waiting room will be closed to clients and family members so please do not bring along any family members or friends who are not attending the appointment.
All staff and clients will be required to wear a mask/face covering when in the presence of others, including during sessions. Please arrive at your appointment with a mask/face covering and do not remove it during your visit.
We ask that everyone follow hand-washing guidelines. While we ask that you do not touch anything in the office, soap, hand sanitizer, and disinfectant wipes will be available. We will also be frequently disinfecting common areas (bathrooms, door knobs, etc) and your clinician will be disinfecting their office between sessions. We cannot offer coffee, water, or soft drinks at this time.
You will be asked to sign a consent form before resuming in-person sessions. Please read this carefully as it outlines additional safety precautions. That form will be available via the client portal.
We will not be accepting cash or check payments. Payments may be made by credit card via the client portal or with your therapist at your appointment. All medication prescriptions will be mailed. There will be no in-person pick-up until further notice.
