Colleen Blake earned her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from California State University, Stanislaus in 2001. During her career, Colleen worked in a variety of different clinical settings; including community mental health agencies, as well as hospital and education settings. Colleen is experienced working with individuals, couples, and families that include working with individuals across the lifespan and with people of various cultures and/or backgrounds. Colleen enjoys working with individuals from a strengths-based approach by helping her clients overcome challenges by identifying and using what they excel. She helps her clients identify patterns of behavior that no longer serve them and finds creative solutions to current concerns. Colleen believes humor is therapeutic and works well with individuals that welcome this in session.Colleen has experience with a wide array of issues but has a particular focus on: Depression, Anxiety, Mood Disorders, Trauma Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Family Conflict, Couple’s Issues, Parent-Child Relationships, Anger Management, Stress Management, and Self-Esteem Issues.
