Dr. Morgan Mulligan is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and earned her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School. Dr. Mulligan specializes in conducting clinical and forensic psychological assessments for individuals and families across the lifespan. Her experience includes completion of general assessments referrals, court-ordered evaluations (fitness to stand trial, parenting capacity, evaluation for individuals involved in immigration court/removal proceedings, risk assessments), social security administration disability evaluations, pre- employment screenings for public safety agencies, and fitness for duty evaluations. Evaluations typically includeadministration of various intellectual and personality tests, clinical interviews, review of collateral information, diagnostic clarification, report writing, treatment recommendations, and feedback sessions. Dr. Mulligan also has experience providing individual therapy, couples therapy, co-parenting therapy, and family therapy, utilizing various evidence-based approaches and interventions including cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, existential, person-centered, and trauma-informed treatments. Dr. Mulligan assists clients with various presenting concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, relationship issues, intellectual disabilities, life transitions, and grief and loss, and completed specialty training providing cognitive processing therapy and prolonged exposure therapy to military veterans. She is PSYPACT certified to practice telepsychology for both Illinois and non-Illinois residents. Dr. Mulligan enjoys teaching and supervising new clinicians and was an adjunct professor in The Chicago School master’s in forensic psychology program for several years, teaching courses in psychopathology, forensic documentation/report writing and testimony, evaluation of the adult offender, and internship seminar.
